Autoharp

For some time I’ve been thinking if I were to stumble on an autoharp, I’d buy one. I wondered if I could do something interesting with them – like run it through a bunch of weird effects and actually get a cool sound out of it.

I found a woman on Craigslist selling a few of these. One was an old 12 chord from the 60’s, a newer 12 chord, and a newer 21 chord. I couldn’t decide if I wanted the newer 12 or 21 chord. I said I might just take both. She said if I buy both she’d throw the old one in for free.

So now I have three of these damn things.

I think the old one will forever be a decoration in the house.
